If you’ve ever stumbled upon a comic book, played video games, or watched action movies, chances are you’ve dreamed of yourself as a superhero — saving the world from evil villains with your one-of-a-kind superpower. Now, it’s time to put your vision to work. With the launch of a costume contest known as “Create Your Own ROBLOX Superhero, sponsored by The Amazing Spider-Man 2“, you have a chance to earn a prize for becoming the most impressive superhero on ROBLOX!
Here’s how it works.
- Dress your character in a superhero costume and save it as an outfit
- Using the dropdown gear next to the outfit, click “Download as image” and save the image to your computer (do not change the name of the file)
- Go to the contest site, enter the required information and upload the image you just saved
Make sure to enter a valid email address, as we’ll send you a link to your particular entry when voting starts next week.
You can browse the catalog and your existing inventory for assets, then build your own superhero on the Character page. There are no restrictions on the items that can be used, nor are there strict requirements as to what constitutes a superhero. We’re simply looking for creativity, boldness, and something you don’t see everyday — your ultimate ROBLOXian hero. We don’t recommend dressing as a superhero that already exists. (However, if you want to, you should check out these new virtual superhero items.)

If you want to get really into it, you could design your own set of shirt and pants, choose matching hats and gear, and even come up with a super-clever superhero title!
The deadline to enter your ROBLOX superhero is Friday, April 11th at 12:00 a.m. GMT. There will be a voting period over the following weekend (April 11th through April 13th). Remember to enter a valid email address so we can send you the link to your particular entry!
A total of five winners will ultimately be determined by a panel of ROBLOX judges. Winners will receive 2,500 ROBUX each. Good luck, and may the best superhero win!
Roblox allows users to create their own online video games and play games created by others. Roblox members appear as personal characters that they can customize by changing clothes, hair and other appearance aspects. Players can purchase clothing and other items for their characters through the Roblox catalog or design personalized T-shirts by uploading a picture to Roblox. Builders Club members can create shirts and pants in addition to T-shirts.
Enter your user name and password information under 'Member Login' on the Roblox homepage. Click 'Login' to access your personal Roblox account.
Click on “Character” at the top of the Roblox page to view the character customization screen where you can change your character’s look. Choose the type of clothing you want to create under “My Wardrobe” on the right side of the screen. Select “Create” to view the instructions for creating a shirt, T-shirt or pants.
Click “Browse” beneath the instructions on the T-shirt builder page to view pictures saved on your computer. Choose the picture you want to place on your T-shirt and click “Open” to populate the picture’s path. Click “Create T-shirt” to upload the picture to Roblox.
View the template if you are making a shirt or pants by clicking on “Shirt Template” or “Pants Template” using Step 2 of the instructions. Click on the template with your right-mouse button and choose “Save Picture As” from the menu to open the save window. Select a location and file name. Select “Save” to save the template.
Open the shirt or pants template with Microsoft Paint or another image editing program on your computer. Color and add designs to the clothing template using the software. Save the customized template to your computer.
Click “Browse” on the Roblox site beneath the clothing instructions to locate your customized shirt or pants template. Find the file saved on your computer. Click “Create Shirt” or “Create Pants” to upload your template to Roblox.
Return to the character customization screen. Find your new T-shirt, shirt or pants in the appropriate category under “My Wardrobe.” Choose “Wear” to have your character wear the new clothes.
Tips
T-shirts, shirts, and pants are the only clothing items Roblox members can currently create for their characters.
All Roblox members can create T-shirts. Become a member of Builders Club to create shirts or pants.
